Solar Control
VS 60 SR CDF - Spectrally Selective at 60% VLT reduces heat and glare on Philadelphia glass while keeping the finished appearance appropriate to its series.
VS 60 SR CDF sits just below VS 61 in the Vista SpectraSelect family, with a 60% visible light transmission that remains bright and restrained. The difference is subtle, but useful: it gives specifiers one more step of solar control when the lightest film feels too marginal, while still keeping the non-metallized, low-reflectance character that defines SpectraSelect.
In Philadelphia, that small shift matters on Society Hill, Old City, Queen Village, and Chestnut Hill properties where glass appearance is scrutinized but summer sun still creates comfort problems. It also fits professional offices, hotels, and schools that need product documentation for facilities teams without giving the building a reflective commercial look from the sidewalk. The product is also easy to sample beside original trim, stone, and brick because the finished glass does not announce itself as a design change.
The specs place VS 60 at 60% VLT, up to 49% heat rejection, and over 99% UV block. Like the rest of the SpectraSelect range, it is designed to reject infrared heat without a metal layer, so Wi-Fi, cellular, radio, and building access systems are not the tradeoff. The finished appearance is near clear, with enough performance to make a measurable difference on sun-exposed glass.
Choose VS 60 when VS 61 is visually ideal but the project needs a touch more confidence in the solar-control specification. V 58 becomes the next step when a barely noticeable neutral tint is acceptable, while V 45 and the 33% films are better for glare and privacy. VS 60 is the quiet middle point for appearance-first Philadelphia work.

Over 99% UV blocking helps protect flooring, artwork, merchandise, and furnishings in sunny rowhomes, offices, and retail rooms.
The spectraselect profile gives specifiers a clear choice between daylight, privacy, reflectance, and neighborhood review constraints.
