Solar Control
Ceramic 35 SR PS at 35% VLT reduces heat and glare on Philadelphia glass while keeping the finished appearance appropriate to its series.
Ceramic 35 SR PS is the darkest and strongest ceramic option in this Vista Philadelphia set. With 35% visible light transmission, it is meant for glass where heat and glare are the main complaints and a lighter film would leave too much brightness in the room. It still uses ceramic particle technology, so the performance does not depend on a metal layer.
This film is a serious candidate for south- and west-facing row house additions, large rear glass walls, upper-floor condominiums, sun-exposed offices, and commercial spaces where afternoon sun overwhelms comfort. It can help modern Philadelphia homes with oversized glazing feel more usable during summer without choosing a reflective dual film. It is also a useful alternative when the owner wants stronger solar control but does not want the exterior reflectance associated with dual reflective privacy film.
The technical package is 35% VLT, up to 66% heat rejection, and over 99% UV block. That means less daylight than the rest of the ceramic family, but materially stronger glare and heat management. The ceramic construction supports wireless-friendly performance, corrosion resistance, stable color, and a neutral appearance that is more subdued than a reflective privacy film.
Choose Ceramic 35 when the exposure is demanding and comfort matters more than maximum daylight. Ceramic 45 is the better compromise if the room needs a brighter feel, Ceramic 55 is the balanced commercial option, and Ceramic 65 is for daylight-first spaces. Ceramic 35 is Vista's ceramic answer for Philadelphia glass that takes the hardest sun.
