V 58 SR CDF - Neutral is the first SpectraSelect option in this set that begins to look intentionally specified rather than nearly invisible. At 58% VLT, it still preserves generous daylight, but the neutral tone gives the glass a cleaner, more managed appearance than the ultra-clear VS 61 and VS 60 films. It avoids the bronze or cool gray cast that can distract from masonry or modern curtain wall design.

That makes V 58 a good fit for Philadelphia clients who want a small privacy and glare improvement without changing the personality of the building. It works on Center City offices, Old City boutique hospitality glass, historic rowhomes with enlarged rear windows, and mixed-use storefronts where a subtle, professional finish is more appropriate than a darker privacy film. This is also a useful choice when owners want the glass to look a little more finished in daylight but still avoid a strong privacy-film signal.

The film pairs 58% visible light transmission with up to 49% heat rejection and over 99% UV block. The neutral, low-reflectance appearance helps maintain clear views and a balanced interior color temperature. Its solar performance is strongest where the goal is steady comfort, reduced fading, and less heat build-up rather than dramatic darkening. Glass review remains important on insulated units and intense south or west exposures.

Choose V 58 when VS 60 still feels too transparent for the design brief, but V 45 would be more tint than the facade can carry.
