Solar Control
V 33 BR SR CDF - Neutral at 33% VLT reduces heat and glare on Philadelphia glass while keeping the finished appearance appropriate to its series.
V 33 BR SR CDF - Neutral is the warm-toned 33% SpectraSelect option, using a bronze character instead of the cooler standard neutral gray. That makes it distinct from V 33 SR even when the light transmission is similar. The film gives Philadelphia glass more glare control and daytime privacy while letting the finished facade feel compatible with brick, brownstone, and warmer exterior palettes.
It is especially useful on Fishtown, Kensington, Northern Liberties, and South Philadelphia rowhomes where large front or rear windows pick up harsh sun but a cool gray tint can look out of place. The bronze tone can also suit restaurants, small offices, and mixed-use buildings with older masonry, black window frames, or warm storefront materials. That facade match can matter as much as the numbers when owners want performance but still care about the block-level character of the property.
At 33% VLT, V 33 BR allows about one-third of visible light through the glass, rejects up to 66% of solar heat, and blocks over 99% UV. That lower VLT improves glare control compared with V 45, and the spectrally selective construction avoids a metal layer. The bronze appearance is not invisible, so sample review is important on street-facing elevations and historic properties.
Choose V 33 BR when the performance target calls for a 33% film but the building would benefit from warmth rather than a cool neutral finish. V 33 SR is the cleaner gray alternative for office glass; V 45 is more daylight-forward; VS 60 and VS 61 are for appearance-sensitive projects. V 33 BR is the character match for sun-exposed brick Philadelphia facades.
V 33 BR SR CDF - Neutral at 33% VLT reduces heat and glare on Philadelphia glass while keeping the finished appearance appropriate to its series.
Over 99% UV blocking helps protect flooring, artwork, merchandise, and furnishings in sunny rowhomes, offices, and retail rooms.
The spectraselect profile gives specifiers a clear choice between daylight, privacy, reflectance, and neighborhood review constraints.
