SCL SR PS8 is a substantial clear safety film for properties that need stronger glass-retention performance while keeping the existing look of the pane. It provides 8 mil construction with roughly 90%+ visible light transmission. The point is to change the failure behavior of the pane while leaving the original clear-glass appearance nearly intact.

Use it on Philadelphia schools, street-level offices, retail entries, municipal buildings, and multifamily common areas where owners want a more serious retrofit layer without changing the facade. It is particularly useful where daylight and transparency are part of the space plan.
