SCL SR PS13 is the heaviest clear safety film in this LLumar set. It keeps the glass appearance essentially clear while adding 13 mil construction for projects that need the strongest fragment-retention support available in this product group. The point is to change the failure behavior of the pane while leaving the original clear-glass appearance nearly intact.

It is appropriate for Philadelphia government facilities, secure offices, schools, high-risk storefronts, and glass doors where owners cannot accept a visible tint. It can also support blast-hazard and ballistic-support discussions when specified by qualified project teams with the right attachment system. On Philadelphia projects, SCL SR PS13 should be evaluated by elevation, room use, and how much glass faces sidewalks, transit, neighboring rowhomes, or open sky.

The film helps retain glass fragments after breakage and can delay forced entry, but it does not make glass unbreakable or replace engineered security glazing. Its clear appearance keeps VLT at roughly 90%+, so the focus is structural support rather than solar control.
