Daytime Privacy
V 48 SR CDF - Dual Reflective increases exterior reflectance in daylight, helping street-facing Philadelphia glass feel more private without blocking the view from inside.
V 48 SR CDF is the lightest dual reflective Vista film in this catalog, designed for clients who want a mild daytime privacy upgrade without making the room feel dark. Its exterior reflectance is subtle compared with the darker dual reflective products, while the lower interior reflectance helps preserve usable views from inside, including after dark.
That makes V 48 a good match for Fishtown rowhomes, Northern Liberties lofts, boutique offices, and street-facing living rooms where occupants want a little more separation from the sidewalk. It can also work on storefront or hospitality glass when the goal is a polished exterior finish rather than a strong mirror effect. It is especially helpful where people want the psychological comfort of less exposure without making the room feel closed down during the day. That restraint is useful on residential blocks where occupants want less exposure but neighbors and associations still care about facade consistency.
At 48% VLT, the film remains relatively bright while rejecting up to 55% solar heat and blocking over 99% UV. Dual reflective construction means the film is more reflective to the outside than to the inside, a key distinction from standard reflective films that can feel mirror-like at night from within the room. The appearance is still more visible than SpectraSelect or ceramic films.
Choose V 48 when privacy is secondary to daylight and view quality. V 38 creates a more noticeable exterior presence, V 28 is a stronger privacy film, and V 18 or V 14 are for assertive street-facing control. V 48 is the softest entry into Vista's dual reflective lineup for Philadelphia buildings.

Lower interior reflectance makes the room less mirror-like after dark than standard reflective films, a practical difference in high-rise and restaurant glass.
At 48% VLT, it cuts visible glare and rejects solar heat for conference rooms, storefronts, and west-facing facades.
