Daytime Privacy
V 14 SR CDF - Dual Reflective increases exterior reflectance in daylight, helping street-facing Philadelphia glass feel more private without blocking the view from inside.
V 14 SR CDF is the darkest Vista dual reflective film in this set, built for maximum daytime privacy and strong solar control. Its 14% VLT creates a deep tint and a mirror-like exterior effect in daylight, while the dual reflective design still aims to keep interior nighttime views more usable than standard reflective film. This is the most assertive privacy choice in the lineup.
It belongs on Northern Liberties ground-floor commercial glass, busy retail corridors, street-facing offices, and rowhome windows where privacy is the primary goal. It can also help intensely exposed glass where glare and heat are severe enough that a moderate product will not satisfy the occupants. It should be treated as a deliberate design and privacy choice, not a neutral background film, because it will noticeably change the facade. It is best for rooms where privacy and glare reduction clearly outweigh the desire for a bright, lightly tinted interior during the day.
Technically, V 14 transmits only 14% of visible light, rejects up to 78% of solar heat, and blocks over 99% UV. The room will feel darker, and the exterior appearance will be obvious in daylight. The benefit is stronger privacy, sharper glare reduction, and a substantial solar-control effect for glass that faces both sun and pedestrian attention.
Choose V 14 when the project needs the strongest daytime privacy in the dual reflective group. V 18 is slightly softer, V 28 balances privacy with more daylight, and V 38 or V 48 are better when night view quality and interior brightness are higher priorities. V 14 is the maximum-control choice for Philadelphia street exposure.
V 14 SR CDF - Dual Reflective increases exterior reflectance in daylight, helping street-facing Philadelphia glass feel more private without blocking the view from inside.
Lower interior reflectance makes the room less mirror-like after dark than standard reflective films, a practical difference in high-rise and restaurant glass.
At 14% VLT, it cuts visible glare and rejects solar heat for conference rooms, storefronts, and west-facing facades.
