Rectangles patterns in the SOLYX® Geometric Collection use elongated block forms — horizontal or vertical — to create a rhythm on glass that moves the eye across the surface. Unlike square grids, rectangle arrangements have a directional quality: horizontal patterns make a window feel wider and more expansive; vertical patterns draw the eye upward and add perceived height. This directionality gives interior designers in Philadelphia a typographic-like control over how a glass surface reads in a space.

For Philadelphia hospitality interiors — hotel lobbies off Market Street, restaurant dining rooms on East Passyunk, wine bars in Rittenhouse Square — a rectangle-patterned glass panel between the kitchen and dining areas adds visual interest without blocking the sightlines that make open-kitchen designs compelling. The film applies to the interior glass surface and can be changed if the space evolves.

On the commercial side, rectangle patterns work particularly well on the floor-to-ceiling glass that defines much of Center City's newer office stock.
