Dichroic Color Shifting films from the SOLYX® Specialized Functions collection use thin-film optical interference to produce a dynamic iridescent color effect on glass — the same physics as mother-of-pearl, butterfly wings, and CD surfaces. The color that appears on the glass changes continuously as the viewing angle shifts, as the light source moves, and as time of day progresses. No two views of dichroic glass are ever identical, which makes it perhaps the most genuinely animated decorative film available.
