Warm Bronze Aesthetic
Bronze reflective tone provides a warmer, more architectural exterior appearance than silver — preferred for Philadelphia buildings with earth-tone facades.

Silver reflective film has its place, but not every Philadelphia facade wants a cool mirror finish. Traditional Bronze 25 runs the same metallized reflective construction at 22% VLT — 73% total solar energy rejected and 32% exterior reflectance — but in a warm bronze tone that reads as architectural rather than industrial. For buildings with brick, earth-tone, or warm-cladding facades where a silver mirror would clash with the streetscape, the bronze specification is the more honest aesthetic choice.
The metallized construction achieves 73% TSER through reflective solar control — heat bounces away from the glass rather than absorbing into the film. The trade-off is the same as the rest of the Traditional Series: the metallic construction can interfere with cellular, Wi-Fi, and GPS signals, so Bronze 25 belongs on industrial and commercial facilities where wireless density isn't mission-critical. The 1.5-mil thickness carries 99% UV block. At 22% VLT, the film provides strong daytime privacy alongside its solar work.
Navy Yard facilities, the Northeast Philadelphia industrial corridor, and Southwest Philadelphia manufacturing buildings with brick or earth-tone facades are the natural home for Bronze 25. The warm tone is often preferred in contexts where the cooler silver reflective finish would read as out of character with the surrounding streetscape — a real consideration in Philadelphia's industrial corridors where facade materiality matters to the neighborhood's visual identity. In Zone 4A, the 73% TSER translates to substantial summer cooling cost savings.
CSI specification documents are available for project submittals. Traditional Bronze 25 carries Huper Optik's lifetime residential and 10-year commercial warranty — reflective solar performance with a warmer face for buildings where the silver mirror finish isn't the right aesthetic answer.
